Did you know that 1 in 3 families consider fostering or adoption but only 2% of them take any action to get reliable information about it? City Without Orphans co-founder and director Whitney Bunker knows there is a huge need for more families for children, and more education resources for families! As a former social worker, and adoptive and foster parent, she has seen the needs of over 2,000 kids in her local foster care system in Fresno County.

CWO exists to serve vulnerable children in Central California through advocacy, education, recruitment and support, and mobilization that bridges the gap between the needs of the foster and adoptive families and the tangible resources within the community.
