Every woman has a unique story to tell, and Habitual Threads captures the essence of these stories, championing the small moments and subtleties that build to one-of-a-kind identities, aspirations, and passions.
Haley Vera, founder of Habitual Threads handpicks materials and creates designs a few at a time, welcoming the thrill and challenge of consistent newness and nuance. No two necklaces are alike. (Think of our designs as collections of sisters, not twins.)
Whether you're feeling on top of the world or you're running late, haven't had your coffee fix, and you. just. can't. Our hope is that our necklaces serve as a reminder and source of encouragement that the modern woman and her story is perfectly imperfect, and that's worth celebrating. Daily.
And when every day becomes a celebration, that's a habit we can get on board with.
My name is Haley Vera. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA where I earned my degree in Merchandise Product Development. I married my junior high sweetheart in 2014 and together we moved from California to Pennsylvania for him to go to dental school in Philadelphia.
I design and make jewelry for Habitual Threads in our studio apartment. I love it here - it's filled with light and plants. We have three giant south facing windows overlooking the northern skyline of Philadelphia's Center City.
My fascination with raw necklace materials transcends into my personal style as my habitual wardrobe doesn’t stray far from a great pair of jeans and comfy tee or a casual dress I'll wear three days in a row. These are the outfits Habitual Threads are created for - the ease of a tee and the effortlessness of a dress.
